While Sarah visited, we all went to Triumph Tattoo to get tattooes together. Our appointment started at noon, and we were there until about 8 pm. Jimmy was with us, and I was so worried that he would get super cranky from being there for such a long time, but he did OUTSTANDING! He hardly fussed at all. I'm so glad he is a very chill guy.
Here is a picture of Jimmy sleeping with his daddy while our tattoo artist was drawing up my tattoo.
Here's our tattooes we got. Dave got the airframer insignia with a quote from a poem about a jet mechanic. I got Jimmy's full name with a sapphire colored aster, and morning glories. (Jimmy was born in September, and September's birthstone is a sapphire and the flowers are morning glories and asters) And Sarah got a really cool sun with the Egyptian eye in the middle. Our tattoo artist (Jim) did a wonderful job!
Right after Sarah went back home to Maryland, our really good friend Justin got back from his deployment. We've been having a lot of fun with him since he's been home. He brought back some really cool things for Dave and I that he got on cruise. He bought Dave a really cool pipe and then he got me a hot pink trucker hat and 24 different rubber duckies. I LOVE rubber duckies!

Our good friend Kevin also stopped by for a visit recently as well. He is stationed on the Lincoln right now. He only stayed with us for 2 days, but we still had a good time. Kevin and Justin used to play video games alot together, so that is pretty much what Kevin's visit consisted of. I made him some homemade food while he was here since he lives on a carrier. Kevin used to live in Japan and absolutely loves everything about Japan. We're hoping he will come visit us when we are stationed there.
Jimmy is now 6 months old. He is 17 pounds and 28 inches. To me, that sounds HUGE, but he isn't gaining weight as fast as the doctors would like to see. We've been working really hard at trying to beef him up and boost my milk supply. They are starting to talk about supplementing with formula, which I DON'T want to do at all. The doctors here are so unsupportive of BF'ing famillies. It's been a struggle.
Here are some recent pictures of Jimmy to sum up this entry.
Jimmy in his highchair
He LOVES his books...even though he tries to eat them.
Sleeping in the car
He fell asleep midbounce in his jumperoo! SO CUTE!
Getting ready for bathtime!
LOTS of smiles

Hang in there Momma! We can talk to LLL while you're here about boosting your supply! Ignore all the BFing haters (lol I almost wrote "BJ" instead of "BF"), we Booby Buddies gotta stick together!
